Saturday Walks

The club's regular day walks (24 per year) take place on Saturdays, with a coach picking up at various stops from Blackpool to Preston.  Locations visited include the Lakes, the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District, the Howgills, Teesdale and Wales. 

On each walk, there are three grades of walk each lead by one of the club's members.  Walks are graded by difficulty of distance, height climbed and terrain.  The list below is for guidance only, as some walks may be slightly harder or easier, depending on the location.  The walks programme shows the distance and height of each walk.

Most walks include a sociable pub stop for a meal on the way home.
